When the market's down, this shows up
Good morning.
This week the market got hammered. Most watchlists turned red and stayed that way.
Here's something I've noticed over the years. When things are down, stuff comes out of the woodwork. Trades you'd never think to look at start going on sale.
Thursday at 3:00 PM, the Homemade Options kitchen served TLT, the long-term Treasury bond fund. I've traded for years and I had never once traded TLT.
I didn't go looking for it. The recipe found it. It came out on sale at 36¢ for every $1 the trade can pay, so it got served.
That's home cooking. You don't need a hot tip. You need a simple recipe and the patience to only buy what's on sale. Win or lose, TLT goes on the receipts. Not every ticket wins.
If you've got an hour this weekend, the training walks you through the whole kitchen.
