Sunday edition: your first Monday with Options Recon
Good morning.
Tomorrow is the first full week of Options Recon for a lot of you. Here's what the first five minutes look like.
9:35 AM. Open the board. The first update lands a few minutes after the bell and refreshes every 2 minutes around the open.
Read the five cards top to bottom. For each: calls or puts, how far the strike is, days left, and the score. That's the whole bet.
Look for the strongest tells. A single large order, a sweep-confirmed flag, a strike with almost no open interest. Several strikes hit means one trader building a position.
Decide what fits you. If a card fits how you trade, you can find that exact contract in any brokerage in about 30 seconds. If not, you still know where the money is leaning today.
After the close, the board is stamped Final, so you can review the day whenever you like.
